Specification

Engine - 4 h.p. Precision Twin cylinder (60 degrees V type), 60 mm. bore x 88 mm. stroke having a capacity of 500 c.c., mechanically-operated valves.

Carburetter - Improved 1914 senspray.

Ignition - Bosch high tension magneto (water-proof type), chain driven, in water and dust-proof case. Handle bar control.

Tank - Petrol capacity 1 ¼ gallons and 1 quart oil, Best and Loyd sight-feed lubrication, combined patent petrol gauge and strainer, screw filler caps.

Transmission - Armstrong three-speed hub as standard, Dunlop belt driven on variable pulley, 19in. belt rim.

Frame - Weldless steel tube, Druid spring forks.

Brakes - Rear acting on belt rim operated by foot pedal, Bowden front brake operated by inverted lever with patent magneto cut-out before brake shoes come into contact with rim.

Wheels - 26 x 2 ¼, Michelin tyres heavily plated steel rims with black centers and red lines, oil-retaining dust-proof hubs.

Standard Fittings - Front and rear stands, tubular carrier with pannier tool bags, side-splash mudguards on front, pan seat. 

Finished with patent anti-rust treatment, enamelled in four coats of lustre enamel, and lined green and gold. The tank aluminium, lined and panelled to match.

 

Extras

Could be supplied as single speed fixed drive in Touring or TT trim with high compression engine.
