Specification
Engine - Two-port OHV design, 85.5mm bore x 86mm stroke having a capacity of 490 c.c. Aluminium piston.
Carburettor - Amac T.T type.
Petrol Tank - 2 1/4 gallons capacity. Chromium plated with ivory top, insetted with a rectangular instrument panel incorporating the lighting switch, ammeter, oil pressure gauge and quick release filler cap.
Forks - Girder.
Transmission - Roller chain throughout, Primary and dynamo chains enclosed in a cast aluminium oil bath gearcase.
Gearbox - Special Calthorpe four-speed (Albion) with hand change.
Wheels - 6 inch internally expanding brakes.
Tyres - 26in. x 3.25in. Dunlop studded heavy 4-ply cord.
Electrics - Fitted standard with Miller coil ignition lighting set and horn.
Front and rear stands, Terry heavyweight de Luxe saddle.
Mudguards and tank top finished in Calthorpe Ivory or ebony black at option, and lined to suit the colour.
Extras
Trip or non-trip Smiths speedometer with internal front wheel drive.
Magneto ignition and Miller S.U.S lighting set.
